Ellie is a thinker and a puzzle solver.  If we forget to slide the bolt home on her stall  she's out of it in 20 seconds.  She's a very gracious horse to both people and other horses, with a proud, up-headed carriage, a lively, active trot and a look-at-me attitude.  She's very fun to ride, sensitive to every nuance and request of her rider.  Ellie's bloodlines are rich with Waseeka and Trophy influence.  Her foals are consistently solid boned and tall.

Maggie has the classic morgan look.  No one ever mistakes her for anything else.  From her broad forehead, large eyes, dainty nose, thickly arched neck, wide chest all topped with a luxuriant wavy mane, she is morgan model perfect.  Anyone can ride Maggie, she's our youngest son's favorite horse.  He's been riding her solo since he was 5 years old.  He especially loves her smmooooth trot.  It's unparalleled for comfort and she does it with no effort and at all speeds.  We're hoping for a colorful stud colt from her and our stallion in 2010.

Jacki is indispensable, I'd rather give up a limb than her.  She let's anyone ride her in any situation. She's been a perfect partner to gather calves, herd goats, chase after loose horses, play at gymkhana, go camping, absolutely anything.  She's always willing, steps out smartly and never says she's too tired.  I ride her in the pastures bridleless & halterless at all gaits even a flat out run with no fear of her taking advantage of me.  We've been doing it since she was 2 years old.  She backs, sidepasses, lopes serpentines, lead changes without any need of a bridle.

This flaxen beauty queen has it all.  She's sweet as an angel, smart enough to be in the movies, perfect conformation, gaited, with action and athleticism to spare.  She is currently being trained to saddle and has completed numerous trail rides.  Her arena work will begin in 2010 and we plan to take her on a few camping trips to round out her education.  Her pedigree has Western working lines and Lippitt in abundance.
